After a day of torrential rain, flooded greens then hot sunshine we eventually completed our semi-finals and finals of the Championship Scratch and Handicap at Pitreavie Golf Club.
We started the day at 10am and eventually finished around 7.30pm
Dianne Watson (Leven Golfing Society), the No 2 seed, beat Brogan Clark (Lochgelly) by two holes in the scratch final, Brogan having beaten leading qualifier Elaine Moffat (St Regulus) in the semi-finals.
In the handicap championship final, Shirley Fleming (Thornton) (handicap 17) beat No 1 qualifier Liz Howie (Dunfermline) (handicap 22) by one hole.
Just have go mention that this is the inaugural Handicap Championship which was eagerly contesteD
Great semi's and finals Ladies and many thanks for your co-operation in finishing your games despite all the disruption during both these rounds.
