Scotland women's and girls' teams win last matches

Scotland beat Turkey 4-1 in their concluding Flight B match at the European women's team golf championship at Helsinger Golf Club, Denmark.

Rachel Walker and Clara Young won the foursome 5 and 3 and aftger RAchel Taylor lost the top singles tie by 2 and 1, Jess Meek (4 and 2), Connie Jaffrey (6 and 5), Heather Munro (6 and 5) delivered the victories in what was the Scotland women's team's best performance of the week.

Pity they did not find their top form until the last day.

Scotland's girls tream won their last Flight B match at the European girls team championship at Kaskada, Brno in the Czech Republic

They beat Switzerland 3.5 to 1.5 with victories coming from Clare Robertson and Emma Hale by one hole in the foursome, and, in the singles, from Shannon McWilliam (at 19th) and  Joanne Free (3 and 2). Chloe Goadby got a square match. Hazel MacGarvie lost 2 and 1.
