In wet and windy conditions, top seed Julie McCarthy, defending champion Annabel Wilson, Elisa Corcoran (pictured above), conqueror of Junior Vagliano Trophy team player Mairead Martin in the morning round, and Lisa O'Shea won their way through to the semi-finals o the Irish Under-18 girls closed championship at Galway Golf Club.
