Top seeds Summers and Walker reach semi-finals at Fortrose and Rosemarkie

Top seeds Ailsa Summers (Carnoustie), the defending champion, and Laura Walker, a former Nairn GC member and now playing out of Muckhart, are still on course to contest Wednesday afternoon's final of the North of Scotland women's amateur championship at Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club.
In the morning semi-finals, St Andrews University student Summers will play Stirling's Eilidh Watson, a student at Stetson University, Florida, and Walker's opponent will be Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne) 
The host club will have a representative in the handicap final as both Joan Darroch and Anne Mackay won their quarter-finals and will meet to decide one of the places in the final.
