Scotland, England, Ireland fail to make top flight in European girls championship
Scotland were not among the top eight qualifiers for the match-play stages of the European girls team championship at Kaskada Golf Resort, Brno in the Czech Republic.
But they were in "good" company - England (9th) and Ireland (11th) also failed to make it to the championship flight. Wales did not enter a team.
The Scots had a 36-hole team total of 803 which placed them 15th, 74 shots behind top seeds Spain whose 729 aggregate was 18 ahead of second qualifiers Germany.
Hazel MacGarvie (Troon Ladies) had a good score of 73 - eight shots better than her first round and Emma Hale became the second Scotland player to break 80 over the two days.
