Carnoustie's Claire wins North of Scotland 

girls' title at Boat of Garten with a 67

Claire Robertson (Carnoustie Ladies) won the North of Scotland girls' championship at Boat of Garten with a five-under-par 67 which may be a women's course record. Club officials are checking their archives but they believe the record Claire beat was a 68.

She won the title and scratch section by seven shots from Jasmine Mackintosh (Hazlehead) who had a better last three holes than Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne) who also returned a 74.

Par 72, SSS 71, CSS 71

Rebecca Riddell (Royal Dornoch), playing off 16, won the fc

handicap title with a net 69, three shots better than Carinne Taylor (Forres) who had a net 72 off three.
