Gemma Dryburgh thriving in pro golf

UPDATE FROM JOHN DRYBURGH
Gemma had a second good week in the California desert after her 8th place finish in the Sun Coast Tour event last week ( field of 90).

She finished 17th out of the 280 starters at the stage 1 LPGA Q School over the Palmer and Dinah Shore ( ANA and former Kraft Nabisco)  courses at Mission Hills,  Ranco Mirage.

After a naturally nervous first round she put together 3 sub par rounds and twice reached 4 under on her final round with 6 birdies.

Only 2 Brits qualified in the 60 out of 280 format with some very good players not qualifying for any status.

Hailey Davis was excellent all week and continued her great form

Gemma is still not the finished article but watching her the last two weeks especially in her last round she is continuing to show that she can thrive in the professional arena.
