Mehaffey marches on to another win for
Ireland in Day 2 foursomes

Ireland's Vagliano Trophy team player Olivia Mehaffey maintained her 100 per cent winning record through a third session of play, partnering Lisa O'Shea to a 3 and 2 foursomes win over Wales' Bethan Morris and Angharad Evans.
The Irish pair had a mixed bag of one eagle, two birdies and a fair amount of bogeys but they were never behind in the match. One up at theturn, they doubled that lead at the 12th before being brought back to a one-hole advantage the next.
Mehaffey and O'Shea won the 14th and 16th for a 3 and 2 win.
The Junior Vagliano Trophy pairing of Annabel Wlson and Mairead Martin made it 2-0 for Ireland with a two-hole victory over Ella Griffiths and Jordan Ryan.
The Irish duo won the third with a par and the fifth with a birdie to go two up - and they stayed that way until Griffiths and Ryan squared the match by winning the 11th and 13th.
Wilson and Martin regained the lead when their opponents had a double bogey at the 14th
The Irish girls clinched a two-hole victory by winning the 18th.
The new Welsh pairing of Nicola Wainwright and Sadie Dewinton-Davies save their best to last to win by two holes against Julie McCarthy and Elisa Corcoran.
The Irish pair won the first, second and the fifth and were still three up after 10 holes.
Then the Welsh partnership put the wheels on a great recovery by winning the 11th, then the 13th and 14th to sqiuare the match.
Their winning roll continued when the won the 17th (the first time they had led in the match) and 18th for a two-hole win which made the lunchtime scorelines: Wales 1, Ireland 2.
