They beat Scotland's Claire Robertson and Jillian Farrell by 5 and 3 with the overall morning score tied at 1-1.
Shannon McWilliam and Chloe Goadby put the Scots 1-0 ahead by beating Alice Hewson and Annabel Bailey 5-4 in the lead-off foursomes.
The Scots built up a four-hole lead on the outward journey and after losing the 10th they surged to victory with wins at the 12th and 14th.
England levelled it at 1-1 with a 6 and 5 win by Hollie Muse and Sammy Fuller over Hazel MacGarvie and Joanne Free.
Three up after seven, Muse and Fuller lost they seventh where they ran up a double bogey 7 but it was only a temporary blip. They romped to victory by winning four holes in a row - the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th.
Allen and Price were two up at turn against Robertson and Farrell. They went on to double their lead by taking the 12th and 14th. And another success at the 15th gave them a comprehensive 5 and 3 win.
