Heather slumps to an 80, misses cut in Sweden

Heather MacRae (Gleneagles) crashed out of the Solvesborg Ladies Open in Sweden after an 80 in the second round for a total of 152 - four shots over the 36-hole cut mark.
She was already seven over par for the day when she ran up a double bogey 6 at the 16th and a belated birdie at the long 17th was too little, too late.
At the other end of the scoreboard, Ellon's Michele Thomson (Meldrum House) is sharing fourth place on two-under 142 with rounds of 70 and 72. She had birdies a the eighth, ninth, long 13th and long 17th.
Long-hitting Laura Murray (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) is joint seventh on 143 with rounds of 73 and 70. She had an eagle 3 at the long 13th and birdies at the third, 15th and 18th.
Rookie Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsfield) is just outside the top 10 in a share of 12th place  on 144 with rounds of 73-71. She compensated for a double bogey 7 with birdies at the eighth, ninth, 14th, 17th and 18th.
Sharing 19th position on 144 is Jane Turner (Craigielaw) who has had rounds of 76-70 for 146.
The cut fell at 148 and MacRae (152) and Glasgow's Gemma Webster (Succession Group) (79-78 for 157) missed out.
