Jane Turner,  Michele Thomson only Scots to survive in Finland

West Linton's Jane Turner and Ellon's Michele Thomson (Meldrum House) were the only Scots to survive the second-round cut in the HLR Golf Academy women's professional tournament at Hill Side Golf and Country Club, Finland today.
Glasgow's Gemma Webster (Succession Group), Alford's Laura Murray (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) and former Curtis Cup Aberdonian Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsgfield) missed the cut which fell at 149.
Turner is lying joint 18th on 146 after rounds of 72 and 74. She is 12 shots behind the Dutch leader, Anne Van Dam who has an incredible second round of 10-under-par 62, 10 shots better than her opening score to lead by eight strokes.
Turner's second round included a double bogey 7 at the 11th and birdies at the 10th and 13th.
Thomson made it through to the final round with nothingwi to spare, having shot 75-74 for the limit mark of 149.
Webster, Dryburgh and Murray all finished on 150, one shot too many. Webster had rounds of 77 and 73, Murray 74-76 and Dryburgh 75-75.
Murray bogeyed the 18th when a par would have got her through to the Sunday action
