Kate McIntosh(Broomieknowe) celebrated her inclusion in the Scotland team for the Women's Home Internatonals at Royal Wimbledon Golf Club next month by leading the field with a 72 over the Eden Course in the first qualifying round of the Strathtyrum Tournament at St Andrews.
Clubmate Wendy Nicholson and Ann Ramsay (Kirriemuir) were lying joint second at the end of the first day with 75s, Wendy over the New Course and Ann at the Eden.
