Nairn lad's part in GB and I's narrow lead over Continent of Europe
SANDY SCOTT'S SINGLES WIN HELPS GB
AND I LEAD BY ONE POINT AT HALFWAY

Britain and Ireland lead the Continent of Europe 6.5 to 5.5 at the
halfway stage of the boys' international match for the Jacques Leglise
Trophy at Royal Dornoch.
The morning foursomes were shared 2-2 with the all-Scottish partnership of Sandy Scott (pictured) and Calum Fyfe losing by 4 and 3.

and I took the afternoon singles 4.5 to 3.5 with Scott winning his
singles by 2 and 1 against Tim Widing (Sweden). Fyfe lost by 3 and to to
Gisli Sveinbergsson (Iceland).
England's
Bradley Moore provided the backbone of the home effort with wins in the
foursomes, partnered by compatriot William Enefer, and a 3 and 1
singles win over Guido Migliozzi (Italy)
