ENTRIES CLOSE SOON FOR THE EDINBURGH GIBSON CUP
Gibson Cup: September 9th closing date for entries
Anne Brownie, Chair of the Gibson Cup Committee, has asked for a reminder to be posted about the closing date for Gibson Cup entries which is rapidly approaching.
This two-day competition over the Braids in Edinburgh is a ladies' foursomes event with a qualifying medal round on the morning of Saturday, 3rd October followed by match-play knockout for the Gibson Cup (semi-finals and final) or consolation stableford foursomes competition on Sunday, 4th October.
Entry is in pairs and costs £26 per foursomes pairing which is great value for two rounds of golf (or three for those who qualify for the match-play finals!).
More information on the format is on the entry forms which are available by e-mail from Anne at apbrownie@blueyonder.co.uk.
Entries must be returned to Edinburgh Leisure (address on form) by Wednesday,September 9th for the opportunity to compete in this competition which is over 100 years old.
