Sweden's Emma Henrickson wins by nine
Emma Henrickson from Malmo, Sweden, a final year student at San Diego State University, blew the field away in the Golfweek Conference 54-hole Challenge at Red Sky Golf Club's Fazio Coufse (par 72-6,200yd) in Wolcott, Colorado.
Emma, pictured, scored her second win on the US women's college golf circuit with a career-best total of 10-under-par 2106, shooting rounds of 72, 67 and 67.
She won by NINE strokes from a field of 86 players including GB and Ireland international Meghan MacLaren from Wellingborough, a prolific winner in the States over her three and a bit years at Florida International University.
Meghan had ever-improving rounds of 77, 74 and 72 for 223 and a share of 17th place.
Jessica Carty from Rory McIlroy country - Holywood, Belfast - and a third-year student at Denver University, finished T30 on 226 with scores of 77, 72 and 77.
Another Denver student, freshman Sophie Newlove from Nottingham had scores of 72, 85 and 76 for 233 and a T50 finish.
Sophie Godley, a final year student at Florida International, had scores of 82, 81 and 71 for 234 and joint 57th place.
San Diego State scored double whammy victories, capturing both the individual and team titles. They won the team award by 20 shots from Texas Christian (878) with Arizona State (883) third and Denver fourth on 885.
Florida Internatinal (920) finished 12th of 17.
