Alasdair Ross finishes 21st at Scotch Meadows

LAURINBURG, North Carolina – The Union College, Kentucky  men's golf team wrapped up the autumn  portion of its 2015-16 schedule with a fourth place finish in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Fall Championship, hosted by St Andrews University, North Carolina at Scotch Meadows Country Club.
The Bulldogs made a late charge on day two of the championship, moving up two spots to finish in fourth place. Union shot a two-day total of 602, finishing four strokes behind third place Tennessee Wesleyan.
Entering the final day tied for fourth place, Reinhardt (Ga.) captured the fall title with a two-day total of 592.
Anders Bojsen (sophomore from Kolding, Denmark) finished the tournament tied for eighth place, Bojsen fired a 73 on day one and 76 on day two for five-over par 149 in the championship.
Finishing tied for 19th place, Erik Hermansson (SO/Gothenburg, Sweden) (77-75) and Andy Dusek (JR/Woking, England) (78-74) finished the championships with a 152.  
Scot Alasdair Ross, a third-year Union College student from Fort William, Scotland, finished in 21st place with a score of 153 (78-75).
Rounding out the Bulldogs, Ludvig Forssman (FR/Hollviken, Sweden) fired the lowest round on the day for the Bulldogs with a 72, finishing the tournament tied for 28th with a two-day total of 155.

Today's tournament caps off a successful Fall 2015 campaign for the Bulldogs, in which they finished in the top five in all four tournaments they played in. The Bulldogs will return to the course in March to begin their Spring 2016 season.
