Gemma Dryburgh tied third at halfway in

LPGA Q School Stage 2 tournament 

Aberdeen-born Gemma Dryburgh has taken over from Holly Clyburn as the leading British player at halfway in the LPGA Qualifying School Stage 2 event at Venice, Florida.onlyu
Dryburgh, a former Curtis Cup player,is sharing third place on 144 with a pair of 72s.
She is two shots behind the joint leaders after 36 holes, American Grace Na (71-71) and China's Yu Liu (68-74).
Only the leading 80 players and ties at the conclusion of four rounds will advance to the Final Q School.
Rookie pro Hayley Davis from Dorset is tied 10th on 146 with a pair of 73s.
LET player Holly Clyburn from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire has dropped to joint 34th on 148 with a 71 and a 77.
Amy Boulden from Wales is joint 34th on 149 with scores of 78 and 71.
Edinburgh-born Sally Watson has pulled herself up to a share of 58th place with a second-round 72 for 151, the same tally as Londoner Rosie Davies (75-76).
Glasgow's Kylie Walker needs very good third and fourth rounds if she is to make the top 80 and ties. With an 80 for 156, the Scot droped to joint 129th in the massive field of just under 200 players
