Heather Stirling and Gemma Webster fail to gain pass marks

Aberdeen's
Gemma Dryburgh (top right picture) and Jane Turner (West Linton) (lower right picture) have qualified for the
Ladies European Tour School Final tournament at two Marrakech, Morocco
venues from December 18 to 21.
Gemma, who plays out of Beaconsfield Golf Club, Buckinghamshire,
finished joint fifth on 296 (75-71-77-73) and Jane joint 11th on 304
(72-75-78-79) at the 72-hole pre-qualifying competition at Mohammedia
Golf Club, Casablanca today (Mon).
The
two other Scots in the field, Heather Stirling and Gemma Webster,
failed to figure among the leading 31 and ties who advanced to the final
tournament with totals of 312 and better.
Stirling shot 78, 75, 82 and 80 for 315; Webster uu, 83, 91 and 74 for 325.
France's Justine Dreher was the leading qualifier with rounds of 73, 72, 73 and 71 for one-over-par 289.
