Kendall Griffin wins Jones/Doherty 

match-play  title in Florida

Kendall Griffin, the No. 3 seed from Sebring, Florida, won the Jones/Doherty women's amateur match-play championship, one of the events on the Florida Orange Blossom Tour, at Coral Ridge Country Club, Fort Lauderdale on Saturday.
She beat the No 9 qualifier, Julia Matzat from Parkland, Florida by 4 and 2 in the final.
In the semi-finals, Griffin beat the 15th qualifier, Claire Fitzgerald, also 4 and 2, despite Claire having a hole in one early in the round.
In the other semi-final, Matzat beat the No 5 seed, Alex Pano, by one hole.
