Lauren Whyte lying T13 after opening 75 at 

Harder Hall Invitational

Lauren Whyte from St Andrews, a student at Baylor University, Texas, shot a three-over-par 75 to occupy joint 13th position at the end of the first round in the 61st Harder Hall Women's Inviational amateur tournament at the Sebring, Florida venue.
The Scot was six shots behind the leader, American Diane Lim whose three-under-par 69 gave the Georgia player  a one-stroke lead from compatriot Alex Wright with another American, Ashley Holder, in third place on her own.
Lim, Wrght and Holder were the only three players to get under the par of 72.
Sammy Fuller (Roehampton), a recent age-group winner in the Florida International Junior championships, shot a 78, two better than her younger sister Annabel. Sammy is in joint 33rd position, Annabel is sharing 46th spot.
GB and Ireland Curtis Cup team candidate Inci Mehmet (Royal Mid Surrey) had a disappointing round of nine-over 81 to be T53.
Opening round weather featured a bit of everything with light misty showers, breezes between 8 and 12 mph and some peeks of sunshine. 

Harder Hall’s Dick Wilson design course, is set up at 6,124 yards for the championship which concludes on Saturday.

In the Forever Forty-Nine Division, Diane Lang opened with a 77, followed by Taffy Brower and Mary Jane Hiestand each with 79.

The Ben Roman Division is led by Becky Krakowski with an opening round of 83.
The Harder Hall Invitational is the first event on the Florida Orange Blossom Tour for amateur women.
