Mehmet leads 1st Flight at Harder Hall

In a rush to complete the third round of action before nightfall at the 61^st Harder Hall Women’s Invitational at Sebring, Florida after the overnight and morning rains forced a one-hour delay, August Kim of St. Augustine, Florida took the lead. 

 August’s 4-under round of 68, gave her a three-day total of 2-under par 214. 

 Second round leader, Jessica Porvasnik stumbled to a 74 and sits in second place alone at 1-under par.  

 Lori Beth Adams carded her second straight under par round, with 70 and is in third place. two shots back of the lead.   

Linn Andersson and Katie Mitchell also carded under par rounds, with 68 and 70, respectively.   

Harder Hall’s Dick Wilson design is set up at 6,124 yards for the championship which concludes on Saturday.  

In the Forever Forty-Nine Division, Taffy Brower shot 73, to take a six-shot lead at 233 into the final day over Janice Roberts Wilson.

In the Ben Roman Division, Peggy Yountz defeated Nancy Jackson in a one-hole play-off after shooting 79 for a three-day total of 248. 

GB and I Junior Vagliano Trophy team player Samantha (Sammy) Fuller (Roehampton), with ever improving scores of 78, 75 and 73, is in the leading 20 of the championship flight at 226, 12 strokes behind leader August Kim (72-74-68) with one round to go at the Sebring, Florida venue.
Curtis Cup team candidate Inci Mehmet (Royal Mid Surrey), pictured,

has also improved her scores with rounds of 81, 75 and 72 for 228 and she leads the First Flight scores by two shots.

Scot Lauren Whyte (St Regulus, St Andrews), a student at Baylor University, Texas, is T7 in this flight with scores of 75, 82 and 78.
Sammy Fuller's younger sister Annabel is T9 in the First Flight on 236, made up of rounds of 80, 80 and 76.
