Sammy Fuller takes over as leading Brit at 

Harder Hall Invitational

Action on Thursday at Harder Hall began with a very damp and foggy morning.  The afternoon saw the clouds part, the sun shine,  72 degree temperatures with slight breezes.  

 After the second round of the 61^st Harder Hall Women’s Invitational, Jessica Porvasnick of Hinckley, Ohio took the lead with a 4-under round of 68, for a two-day total of 141. 

 First-round leader, Diane Lim of Peachtree Corners, Georgia stumbled to a 75 and sits in second place alone at even par.  Lim is followed by Kelly Grassel, who recorded a 3-under 69, and Alex Wright with a two-day total of 145.    

Lori Beth Adams carded the only other under par round on Thursday, with a one-under 71, for a two-day total of 146.  Harder Hall’s Dick Wilson course design is set up at 6,124 yards for the championship which concludes on Saturday.

In the Forever Forty-Nine Division, Diane Lang and Taffy Brower are tied at the top with two-day totals of 160.

In the Ben Roman Division Nancy Jackson rebounded from her first round to a second round 77 for a two-day total of 164, to take a two shot lead over Becky Krakowski who posted her second consecutive 83 Thursday.  The Ben Roman Division concludes after 54 holes of stroke play on Friday.

GB and I Junior Vagliano Trophy team player Samantha (Sammy) Fuller (Roehampton) has taken over as the leading British player with scores of 75 and 78 for 153 and joint 22nd place in the championship flight.
Inci Mehmet (Royal Mid Surrey), Lauren Whyte (St Regulus) and Annabel Fuller (Roehampton) have dropped to the First Flight.
Inci has had scores of 81 and 75 for 156; Lauren 75 and 82 for 157; Annabel a pair of 80s for 160.
