Pamela Pretswell's opening 68 has her T3
in New Zealand Women's Open

Great opening round by Hamilton's Pamela Pretswell is the Handa New Zealand Women's Open at Christchurch.
Pamela (pictured) birdied six holes (three of them par-5s) for a four-under-par 68 and joint third position behind Denmark's Nicole Broch Larsen (66) and France's Justine Dreher (67).
Gwladys Nocera (France) is tied with the Scot on 68.
World No 1 and title favourite in her home country, Lydia Ko, is T5 on 69.
Pretswell's six birdies came at the long second, the long fifth, the par-4 seventh and eighth - out in 32 - the long 10th and par-4 15.
She bogeyed the 13th and 18th.
