Shannon McWilliam wins SJT girls' event by 

five strokes at Forrester Park

Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne) won the Scottish Junior Tour's girls section at Forrester Park, Dunfermline today (Sunday) with five strokes to spare.

Shannon, pictured, had an eagle 2 at the par-4 10th in her first round and a bag of 10 birdies in all over the 54 holes with scores of 73, 78 and 76 for a total of 227.
Jennifer Rankine (Haggs Castle) was runner-up with 82, 74 and 76 for 232.
Hazel MacGarvie (Troon Ladies), who finished third on 235, had the best round of the weekend - a 72 in the final round. Her earlier scores were 85 and 78.
