Brooke Mackenzie Henderson finds form on LPGA Tour, moves to No. 5 in world
Nine, if you count the RACV Ladies Masters, a European event she played in late February.
“A lot of good things happening,” said Henderson, who, of course, isn’t satisfied with being a top-10 machine.
As Lydia Ko, now 19, commands headlines for being the most impressive young player in LPGA history, be sure to take note of Henderson’s staggering consistency.
But while Canada’s finest guns for Ko’s No. 1 ranking, don’t expect a bitter rivalry. That’s not how these dream teens roll.
“I really appreciate and look up to her for everything she’s done on the LPGA tour,” said Henderson of Ko, “and everything she has done in her career … hopefully in the future we’ll become pretty good friends.”
