Alice Hewson (Clemson University) from Berkhamsted, a member of the GB and I team for next month's Curtis Cup match against the USA in Ireland, is lying T22 with rounds of 77 and 75 for 152 with one round to go in the NCAA Shoal Creek Regional at Shoal Creek Country Club, Alabama.
Alice, pictured, is seven strokes behind the joint leaders.
Clemson needs a very strong final team round if they are going to make the leading six who will go forward to the NCAA Championship in Oregon.
Clemson (618) are currently T8 in a field of 18 teams.
Northwestern (590) leads from Florida State (596) and Oklahoma State (598).
