Baberton beat Broomieknowe in tight 

Edinburgh double foursomes final

Host club Baberton beat defending champions Broomieknowe
by two holes in a very tight final of the Edinburgh inter-club women's double foursomes match-play tournament today.
Karen Marshall and Fiona De Vries beat Hannah Scott and Sandra Hennessey by one hole and the Baberton second string of Wendy Nicholson and Mandy Dougal also finished one up in their match against Kate McIntosh and Katherine Anderson.
In the morning semi-finals, Baberton beat Kingsknowe by a combined 10 holes while Broomeknowe were a combined seven holes to the good against Liberton.
