INTER-AREA VETS' TEAM MATCH AT TURNHOUSE
Midlands beat East to win Miskimmin Trophy

In
a closely contested match at Turnhouse GC on Tuesday, a
Midland Division Vets Team beat East Vets to regain the Liz Miskimmin
Friendship Trophy.
Midland Captain Shelagh Quinn (left) is pictured below,
receiving the quaich from Anne Brownie, East Vets captain.
In
the next two photos, the winning Midland Team are all smiles in their
team photo with the Trophy while there are happy faces all round in the
picture of both teams which, as ever, lived up to its name of the
Friendship Quaich.
The winning margin was 4 to 3 with some great golf being played on both sides. Turnhouse Golf Course was in lovely condition and the weather was kind which meant that both teams had a very enjoyable day, rounded off by a lovely meal on conclusion of the golf.
