Michele Thomson in 2nd place with a 

round to go in Sweden

Aberdeenshire's Michele Thomson is in second place with one round to go in the LETAS development tour's Halmstadt Ladies Open at Haverdals Golf Club, Sweden.

The Ellon-based player, pictured, attached to Meldrum House Golf Club, Oldmeldrum, has had rounds of 70, 71 and 68 for a seven-under-par tally of 209. 
Her bogey-free 68 was highlighted by birdies at the ninth 11th, 15th and 17.
Thomson is two shots behind the leader, Spanish amateur Maria Parra who has scored 71, 67 and 69 for 207.
Three players are sharing third place, two behind Thomson 211 - Holly Aitchison (England), Charlotte Thomas (England) and Sweden's Lynn Carlosson.
Jane Turner from the Lothians dropped back with a third-round 79  for 221 after a pair of 71s had her in contention for a top-10 finish.
