Sophie Madden 13th but lucky for some - she's in
Nova SE team for NCAA Div 2 Championship

Sophie Madden from Essex, coming up to the end of her freshman year at Nova Southeastern University, finished 13th in a field of 66 at this week's NCAA Division 2 Women's Super Region 2 tournament at Marcus Pointe Golf Club, Pensacola, Florida.
Over a par-72 course of 6,036yd, Sophie, pictured right, shot rounds of 76, 75 and 76 for a total of 11-over-par 227.
Madden will be going to the NCAA championship as a member of the winning team, Nova Southeastern whose Aldana Foigel (71-73-74) and Jamie Freedman (73-70-75) fought out a play-off for individual honours with Jamie winning at the second extra hole.
Two other English students in the tournament were Sophie Bargeron (Armstrong State), a sophomore from London, and Daisy-May Kenny (West Florida), a senior from Purley.
Bargeron shot 79, 74 and 77 for 230 and a T17 finish.
Kenny had scores of 78, 83 and 84 for 245 and a T61 placement.
The top three teams who advance to the NCAA Championship are: Nova Southeastern (894), Rollins College (898) and St Leo (902).
West Florida (911) finished fourth of the 12th teams.
Coach David Leadbetter's daughter Halley was in the Rollins College team. She finished seventh individually with scores of 71, 76 and76 for 223.
