Heather MacRae goes down to Essex to

 finish second in a WPGA event

With no lady pro events in Scotland these days, Heather MacRae, who recently moved her attachment from Gleneagles to Archerfield Links, made the long trip down south to the Three Rivers Golf and Country Club, near Chelmsford, Essex where the latest WPGA One-day Series competition was being played today..
It was a worthwhile trip in that the former British women's open amateur stroke-play champion finished second with a two-under-par 72 - one shot behind the winner, Sophie Daws (Etchinghill) - and earned £275
