Jess Meek wins Carnoustie Rosebowl with a 70
Jess Meek (Carnoustie Ladies), home for her summer holidays from the University of Missouri, shot a very good, four-under-par round of 70 over her home Carnoustie course to win the Carnoustie Rosebowl at the annual Northern tournament on Saturday.
She birdied the sixth, ninth, 14th, 16th and 17th, with only one bogey, at the 18th, where she drove into a bunker. The Carnoustie women's SSS is 77 and the CSS was 79.
