Royal Dornoch ladies win Brora 3-ball best ball

Fifteen lady teams competed in the Brora open three-ball-best-ball competition  with the trio of Royal Dornoch members, Belinda Shepherd, Suzie Sutherland and Vicky Sutherland, coming out on top with a better net card of 60 to win the MacDonald Glass Bowl.  

They fought off a net 62 from Tain's Linda Thomson, Angela Ross and Audrey Duncan while a Spey Valley and Carrbridge team of Catriona Shand, Irene Blease and Wilma Fraser on the same score got relegated to third place on the card play-off.

The Joan Duncan Trophy restricted to Sutherland teams out with the main prize winners was won by the local trio of Anne Clarke, Fiona MacLennan and Susan Smith with a 63.
