Northern Counties include American pair in team for
Northern Division Jamboree at Edzell

Northern Counties Ladies Golf Association team selectors are pinning their hopes on reaching the Scottish women's county finals this
year on two American members of Royal Dornoch Golf Club, who are spending summer months in
Dornoch.
Ashley Rose, who is from South Carolina played, in the county championships
at Brora last month and made a good impression. Her American friend who
has been a member of Dornoch for 20 years and holds a very low handicap is
Sandy Jackson from New York. They will be joined in the team by Claire Riddell
and Cara Thomson, bringing the Royal Dornoch representation up to four, half the
team.
Completing the line up
for the Northern Division Jamboree against Aberdeenshire, Perth and Kinross, and Scottish champion Angus at Edzel
Golf Club, Angus from June 11 to 13 is new county champion Hannah McCook
(Grantown on Spey), Carinne Taylor (Nairn), Kerri Harper (Inverness) and the
experienced Meg Sievwright (Buckpool).
