JANE TURNER ONLY SCOT TO SURVIVE WOMEN'S
OPEN PRE-QUALIFIER AT THE BERKSHIRE
Jane
Turner from the Lothians was the only Scot to survive the Ricoh Women's
British Open pre-qualifier over 18 holes at The Berkshire Golf Club
today.
She
shot a one-under-par 71 which share the lead for most of the day until
two English players, Rebecca McGinley and Emma Goddard posted 70s late
in the day to head the 28 qualifiers with scores of 73 and better. They
advance to the Final Qualifying event on Monday, July 25.
