Fortrose and Rosemarkie report and results
Sheena Wood wins Scottish senior women's
match-play title, Aileen Baker's handicap title
Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies), beaten in last year's final, is the new Scottish Senior Women's match-play champion.
Sheena (pictured right) KO'd top seed Alex Glennie (Kilmarnock Barassie), winner of the stroke-play title earlier in the week, 3 and 2 in this morning's semi-finals and then beat American Ashley Rose, a Royal Dornoch member, by 3 and 2 in the final at Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club.
Wood, two down after five holes in the final, never looked back after winning the seventh, eighth and ninth for a one-hole lead.
She eventually broke her opponent's resistance by winning the 15th and 16th to end the match.
Aileen Baker (Crail Golfing Society) won the handicap final, beating Caroline King (Clober) by 3 and 2 in the final after being one up on the 12th tee.
