Kimberley KOd at 20th in St Andrews quarter-final

Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne), winner of the North of Scotland women's championship earlier this season, lost an epic quarter-final at the 20th hole today (Wed) in the St Andrews Junior Ladies Open tournament over the Strathtyrum Course.
Her conqueror was Norway's Julie Nordin who will now play Jessica Bailey (Kirby Muxloe) in the semi-finals.
The other semi-final will feature top seed Alison Muirhead, a member of Emirates Golf Club, Dubai, and Briony Bayles (Bishop Auckland).

A Muirhead (Emirates) bt E  Hamilton (Notts Ladies) 3 and 2.
B Bayles (Bishop Auckland) bt K J Stanley (Manchester) 3 and 1.
