Ludlow lady beats Martine Pow in final
 
Tara Rodenhurst (Ludlow) won the Strathtyrum Trophy at St Andrews today. She beat former Scottish women's amateur champion Martine Pow (Selkirk) by 4 and 3 in the final.
The handicap section for the Strathtyrum Salver was won by Julie Anstee, who plays off 15 of a handicap at Ferndown. She beat Carol Purves (Selkirk), playing off 11, at the 19th in the final.

Final -Anstee bt Purves at 19th.
