IRELAND WIN EUROPEAN SENIORS

The winning Irish Team return Home with the European Team Championship Trophy

The holders, Ireland,  came through a tough match against Belgium to win the European Seniors Team Championship at Sierra Golf Club, Poland today.
New team member, Mary Sheehy,  had to go to the 21st to secure her match and Ireland's win.
England took bronze medal position with a 3.5 to 1.5 win against Sweden.
Scotland lost to Austria by 3 matches to 2 in Flight B,  and finished the series in 12th position.
