Jamie Stewart's tied sixth finish at Duke of York Tournament

Stewart, pictured, had rounds of 78, 70 and 72 for a total of 220 - six strokes behind the winner, Canadian girl Chloe Currie (74-72-68 for 214).
Scottish U18 girls champion Hazel MacGarvie (Troon Ladies) finished tied 19th with scores of 78, 70 and 80 for 228.
Scottish U18 boys match-play champion Eric McIntosh (Bruntsfield Links had scores of 79, 81 and 73 for 28th place on 233.
Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne), a +2 handicapper, played well below her potential with scores of 81, 78 and 76 for 235. She finished tied 33rd.
Canadian Chloe Currie shot the joint lowest round of the week, 68 and climbed to the top of the leaderboard as she "stole" the trophy from overnight tournament leader Marke Braadie (Norway). Currie finished on a total of 214, one shot clear of Braadie.
Three of the top four finishers are girls.
The Duke of York Trophy has been run over the last 15 years and. Previous winners and successful competitors include Rory McIlroy, Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist and England’s Melissa Reid.
