SCOTTISH WOMEN'S REGIONAL MEDAL GRAND FINAL WINNERS

Newmachar's Lynne Tough and Rona Sarafilovic (Muckhart) were the Silver and Bronze winners respectively in today's Scottish women's regional medal grand final over the Lansdowne course at Blairgowrie.

Lynne, who plays off eight, topped the Silver net returns with a 68, in which she had gross birdies at the seventh and 12th in halves of 39 and 37 for a scratch 76.

She won her category by six strokes from Stacey Cameron (Dirleton Castle Ladies) (4) and Katie Scott (Strathaven) (5) who both had net 74s.

Ron, who has a handicap of 27, headed the Bronze returns with a net 73 - three ahead of runner-up Zoe Kemp (Helensburgh) (1) with Janice Carruthers (Lockerbie) (23) third with a net 77.
