EILIDH'S TOP TEN FINISH ON HAWAII AND HEATHER FINISHES 47TH AT KAIWAH ISLAND
Eilidh Watson from Dollar, (pictured left) a third-year student at Stetson University, Florida, finished joint 10th in a field of 31 at this week's Dennis Rose Invitational women's college golf tournament at Waikoloa Golf Club, Hawaii.
She had rounds of 78 and 77 for `155, seven shots behind the winner, Sterling Hawkins (Academy of Art) who scored 74-74 for 148.
Runner-up on 149 (75-74) was Watson's team-mate, Anglo-Scot
Heather Munro from Monifieth, (pictured right) a third-year student at Elon University, North Carolina, finished joint 47th in a field of 105 players at the Palmetto Intercollegiate women's tournament at Turtle Point golf course, Kiawah Island in South Carolina today (Tuesday).
Heather had rounds of 78, 74 and 78 for a total of 230 over a par-72 course of 5,972yd.
She finished 18 shots behind the winner, Katy Harris (Mississippi) who had rounds of 73, 70 and 69 for four-under 212.
Another Brit in the big field was Dulcie Sverdloff from Southend, a final-year student at Kennesaw State University. She finished joint 31st with rounds of 72, 79 and 75 for a total of 226.
