LONDON STUDENT ASHLEIGH GREEN FINISHES SECOND IN DELAWARE

Ashleigh Green (pictured left)  from London, a third-year student at Rutgers University, New Brunswick in the state of New Jersey, tied for second place in the Lady Blue Hen Invitational 54-hole college tournament which finished today (Sunday) at Rehoboth Beach Country Club, Delaware.
Over a par-71 course of 6,008yd,

Ashleigh had rounds of 80, 73 and 75 for a total of 228 - five shots behind the winner Anna Zhou (Harvard) who shot 75, 72 and 76 for 10-over 223.

Scoring suggests the conditions were tough.
Rutgers (944) finished fifth of 10 in the team event won by Harvard (920) from Delaware (930) and Pennsylvania (932).
