ALICE HEWSON MOVES INTO TOP 10 AT NEW ORLEANS
GB and I international player Alice Hewson from Berkhamsted, a student at Clemson University, South Carolina, has moved into the top 10, only four shots behind the leader, after the second round of the All State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate championship at English Turn Golf and Country Club, New Orleans today.
Alice has had rounds of 73 and 70 for a one-under-par tally of 143 over the 6,239yd, par-72 course.
She is four behind the leader by one, Casey Danielson (Stanford) who has scored 72-67 for five-under 139.
Jessica Carty (Denver), a senior year student from Holywood, near Belfast, Northern Ireland, is T34 on 149 with rounds of 77 and 72.
