HUDSON'S TOP 10 FINISH AT CAPE TOWN

England's Rebecca Hudson finished eighth behind a South African 1-2 finish to the Cape Town Ladies Open at Royal Cape Golf Club today (Thursday).

Hudson had three par rounds of 74 for an aggregate of 222, eight shots behind play-off participants Ashleigh Buhai (71-68-75) and Lee-Anne Pace (74-68-72).

Buhai, the long-time leader, won the sudden-death play-off.

South Korean Carrie Park came third with rounds of 75, 71 and 71 for 217.

Former British women's amateur champion at the age of 15, Lauren Taylor finished T11 on 225 with scores of 72, 76 and 77.

Kiran Matharu had improving scores of 81, 74 and 71 for 226 and a T13 position.

Scot Kirsty Fisher had a T48 finish on 248 with rounds of 83, 87 and 78.
