ANNABELL FULLER LOSES IN SPANISH SECOND ROUND

Annabell Fuller, the only English or Irish player to survive the first round, was beaten 3 and 2 by Sweden's Frida Kinhult in the second round of the Spanish women's amateur international championship at Sherry Golf Jerez, near Cadiz.

Kinhult had earlier beaten Sophie Lamb 5 and 4 in the first round.

England's Isobel Wardle and Gemma Clews as well as Ireland's Annabel Wilson, the No. 7 seed, also lost their first-round ties.
