JERSEY PLAYER INCREASES SYMETRA TOUR LEAD
Olivia Jordan-Higgins, from Jersey in the Channel Islands, increased her lead to two strokes with a second-round 70 for a tally of 136 with one round to go in the LPGA Symetra Tour's Florida's Natural Charity Classic at Winter Haven.
Olivia, who is experienced in American golf course conditions, having spent four years at college in the States, leds from two Americans on 138, Lindsay Weaver (70-68) and Erica Popson (67-71).
England's Charlotte Thomas (74-75) and Scotland's Gemma Dryburgh (71-78) survived the cut on 149 with nothing to space.
But Ellie Givens from south of the Border missed out by four shots with rounds of 79 and 74 for 153.
