Heather Munro from Monifieth, a third-year student at Elon University, North Carolina, continued her recent run of good form with a top-10 finish today (Friday) in the 54-hole River Landing Classic at River Landing Golf Club, Wallace in North Carolina.

Over a par-72 course of 6,082yd, Munro (20) had rounds of 72, 75 and 74 for a five-over total of 221 and a joint ninth place in a field of 74 players.

Heather finished eight strokes behind the winner by five, Hee Ying Loy (East Tennessee State) who scored 65, 73 and 75 for three-under 213.

Elon (901) tied for sixth place behind team title winners Penn State (878) and runners-up East Tennessee State (885) in a field of 11 squads.
