BRONTE LAW HAS WINNING CHANCE IN ARIZONA

Former Curtis Cup player Bronte Law from Cheshire has a chance of scoring her first win on the LPGA Symetra Tour in the Gateway Classic at Longbow Golf Club, Mesa, Arizona.

With one round to go, Bronte, after rounds of 70 and 69 for 139, is only two behind the joint leaders, Mina Harigae (69-68) and Stephanie Kono (67) 70,in joint third place.

Scot Gemma Dryburgh is T49 on 147 with rounds of 75 and 72.

Stephanie Meadow (76-73 for 149), Charlotte Thomas (73-76 for 149) and Ellie Givens (77-78 for 155) missed the cut.
