FIONA LIDDELL STILL IN TOP 20 AT BIG 12 CHSHIP

Former Scottish U18 girls champion Fiona Liddell, now a student at Baylor University, Texas, retained her place in the top 20 of the Big 12 Women's Collegiate Championship with a second-round 76 for a tally of six-over-par 150 at Dominion Country Club, San Antonio in Texas.

Fiona, whose father is a club pro in Germany and whose mother is German, is T17 in a field of 45 players.

Kansas State students Connie Jaffrey (pictured right) from Kilwinning and Chloe Weir from Belfast are sharing 24th place on 152, Connie with a pair of 76s, Chloe with scores of 80 and 72.

Texas (591) lead the team event by three shots from Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. Kansas State and Baylor are on the 605 mark, tied seventh in a field of nine teams.
